BERG Generator System
All IPI Industries Midwest’s extended run generator systems carry a 90day limited warranty when installed properly in accordance with warranty policy and BERG system instructions. In order to validate the warranty, the claim must be filed within the warranty period. Proof of purchase including a copy of the original receipt must be presented to IPI Industries Midwest for validation.
Warranty Policy: Limited Warranty is made to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable.
Limited Lifetime Warranty: Applies to the original owner. The lifetime warranty covers the machined aluminum cap on the BERGS I and BERGS II. The lifetime warranty covers the machine pump cap and all machined parts on the BERGS III. The warranty does not cover wear and tear or damage occurred by owner/daily use.
Limited Warranty: This Limited Warranty is limited to defects in materials and workmanship of the product as supplied by the manufacturer.
Warranty Period: Your warranty period begins on the date of purchase. We offer a 90day part replacement warranty unless otherwise stated on your receipt.
Replacement Part(s): Replacement parts provided as warranty replacement carry the remainder of the original warranty term. We do offer replacement parts for the Attwood Marine tanks sold with our products.
Refunds: IPI Industries Midwest reserves the right to refund your money instead of replacing or repairing a product.
Commercial Use: The warranty period for units installed for commercial or industrial use expires 60 days from the date of original purchase, regardless of what may be printed on the front of your receipt.
What is not covered: This warranty does not cover parts that fail as a result of improper installation, misuse, abuse or the failure of another part. Parts modified for use or installed for use other than their original design and application have no warranty. IPI Industries Midwest cannot guarantee the performance of your B.E.R.G. fuel system in adverse or extreme weather conditions example below -0 or above +80.
How I receive my Warranty Return Credit
Contact us via e-mail at https://ipiindustries.com/warranty or telephone at 612-799-0614 and request a Return Authorization (RA) number. You must return the defective item(s), your RA form, and original copy of proof of purchase within 30 days of the RA. Consumer is responsible for return shipping charges.
For all systems that are sold without a gas tank in order for our warranty to be valid the system must be used with an EPA certified gas tank. If the extended run fuel system is not used with a certified gas tank this may result in damage due to the lack of venting. In order for any warranty to be valid the extended run fuel system must be used on an EPA certified gas tank.
